The Miami Dolphins signed first-round pick Ja'Wuan James to a four-year, $8.4 million deal on Thursday. The deal includes a $4.4 million signing bonus and a player option for a fifth year.
James, an offensive tackle from the University of Tennessee, was the 19th overall pick. He was a four-year starter for the Volunteers and was named a team captain along with collecting All-SEC and honorable mention All-America honors as a senior.
James is expected to open training camp next month as the starting right tackle.
