Dilemma in 'Seinfeld' plot with Keith Hernandez gets response in 'Ask Amy' advice column

Helping a friend move is a very big step in a male relationship.

"The biggest," Jerry Seinfeld exclaimed in an episode titled "The Boyfriend." "That's like going all the way."

Almost 24 years after the (two-part) episode first aired, the problem that vexed Seinfeld -- whether or not to help Mets great Keith Hernandez move furniture -- got what appears to be an earnest treatment from advice writer Amy Dickinson in her nationally syndicated "Ask Amy" column.

Amy was on point and Jerry did object to helping with the move, except Seinfeld did hear from Hernandez again in the show's finale.
