Denny Hamlin's Darlington scheme inspired by Cale Yarborough

Denny Hamlin is tipping his hat to a NASCAR legend.

For the September throwback weekend at Darlington Raceway, Hamlin's No. 11 Sport Clips Toyota Camry will run a retro scheme inspired by Cale Yarborough. Check it out. 

It's not the first time Hamlin has driven a Yarborough-inspired paint scheme at Darlington. In 2012, Hamlin ran a retro paint scheme to honor Yarborough’s induction into the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

Other drivers have also revealed what scheme they'll be running for the special throwback weekend:

Kurt Busch: No. 41 Haas Automation Chevrolet SS

Austin Dillon: No. 3 Chevrolet SS

Chase Elliott: No. 25 NAPA AUTO PARTS Chevrolet SS 

Kevin Harvick: No. 4 Budweiser Chevrolet SS

Ryan Newman: No. 31 Caterpillar Chevrolet SS
