The Detroit Red Wings won't be without defenseman Danny DeKeyser at training camp.

The Wings announced Tuesday that they re-signed DeKeyser, a restricted free agent, to a two-year contract with a reported average cap hit of $2.187 million.

DeKeyser, 24, earned four goals and 19 assists in 65 games with the Wings last season. His 23 points were second-most among defensemen on the team.

DeKeyser signed with the Red Wings as an undrafted free agent out of Western Michigan and made his NHL debut late in the 2013 season.
