Deep-fried 'CARBuretor Crunch' sandwich coming to PIR

It's called the "CARBuretor Crunch" sandwich ... and the roughly 900-calorie treat can be yours at Phoenix International Raceway.

We're talking about a deep-fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich encrusted with Cap'n Crunch, covered with bacon crumbles, fresh sliced bananas and caramel drizzle. Amazing.

"With food being such an important part of the race day fan experience, we asked our chefs to create a one-of-a-kind treat that fans can't get anywhere else," said Kristie Maggs, director of consumer marketing & partnership activation. "Just like NASCAR, this creation is classic Americana with a little extra horsepower."

The sandwich costs $7 ($13 for a double order) and even comes with a photo declaring, "I ate the CARBuretor Crunch."
