De Vanna in trouble over Facebook pics
A member of the Australian national women's soccer team is being investigated by Football Federation Australia (FFA) after lewd simulated sex pictures were seen on her Facebook page by a 13-year-old fan, Australian commuter newspaper mX reported Thursday
The girl and her mother said they were distraught after viewing Lisa De Vanna's page this week.
De Vanna, a highly decorated player, was told to remove the scandalous photos and set her page to private Wednesday after the mother of the young Matildas fan laid a complaint with FFA.
The people are clothed in the images but engaged in simulated sex acts.
Profane comments had been posted on one of the photos, which showed friends of De Vanna posing jokingly with a large blow-up penis, according to The Age.
The FFA was investigating whether De Vanna had breached the FFA Code of Conduct, a spokesman said.
