If you haven’t been paying attention to hockey in Western Canada, I can’t blame you. It’s been pretty grisly, what with the Vancouver Canucks flaming out in the Stanley Cup Finals a few years back and fans trying to burn their town down, the Edmonton Oilers setting a world record for length of an organizational rebuild (How many first overall draft picks can a single roster sustain, anyway?) and…the Calgary Flames.
