Daytona 500 Sights & Sounds: Getting ready for The Great American Race

The long wait is over and the start of the Daytona 500 is finally here. See how drivers, teams, and others are getting ready for Sunday's 57th running of the Daytona 500. 

The garage was open early and teams have been hard at work getting their cars ready for the biggest race of the year.

Celebrities have made their way to Daytona International Speedway, talking with the media, meeting drivers and posing for pictures in the garage. 

Like most race days, drivers spent the morning meeting with sponsors and hospitalitly guest. 

The crews are continuing to prepare for Sunday's race, and the drivers are ready to climb in the car and finally get the season underway. 

Sidelined by a broken leg in Saturday's NASCAR Xfinity Series race, Kyle busch will not race on Sunday, but is ready to watch the Daytona 500 from his hospital room.
