BATH, N.Y. (AP) A New York man who recently won three marathons in three states in eight days says his winnings will go toward paying his infant son's medical bills for a developmental congenital disorder.

The Democrat and Chronicle of Rochester reports (http://on.rocne.ws/1H4jkST ) that 29-year-old Bryan Morseman of Bath in Steuben (stoo-BEHN') County started his streak March 14 when he won the Montgomery Marathon in Alabama. The next morning, he ran in the Tobacco Road Marathon in Cary, North Carolina, because it was on the way home and won that race.

A week later, he took first place in the Yeungling Shamrock Marathon in Virginia Beach.

The three victories brought him $5,750 in winnings, all of which he'll put toward 9-month-old Leeim's treatments for spina bifida. He and his wife also have 2-year-old son.
