D-backs use Pollock's glum mug as reminder about team photo day
Everyone remembers picture day at school and how one's ugly mug shot ends up in a yearbook, never to be forgotten. Baseball players face this same risk every year, and the Arizona Diamondbacks' PR team is making sure everyone comes in early Sunday morning looking good for their official 2015 team photos.
So these fliers were distributed after practice on Saturday, and were accompanied with a very real picture of outfielder A.J. Pollock and a very real warning.

Sunday's photos will be distributed to everyone. That's print and online publications, TV stations that broadcast games and official MLB media guides. The photos will show up on wire services for websites -- like this one -- and keen eyes, like those of FOX Sports' Jimmy Traina, will single out the less flattering, like the list outfielder A.J. Pollock ended up on last year.
Here's your friendly reminder: Always show up to photo day bright eyed and bushy tailed, or risk getting harrassed until you get another shot at looking good next year.
