D-backs pitchers, catchers report on Feb. 11

PHOENIX – Top minor-league prospects Matt Davidson, Chris Owings and David Holmberg are among 20 non-roster players who have been invited to spring training camp with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Pitchers and catchers will report to the Salt River Fields at Talking Stick facility on Feb. 11, with their first workout on Feb. 12. Position players will report on Feb. 14, with the first full-squad workout on Feb. 15.

The list of non-roster invitations also include major league veterans Mark Teahen and Kila Ka'aihue and former Arizona State star Tuffy Gosewisch.

The breakdown of invitees includes eight pitchers, four catchers, six infielders and two outfielders

Right-handed pitchers: Eddie Bonine, Nelson Figueroa, Warner Madrigal, Evan Marshall, Garrett Mock, Bo Schultz.

Left-handed pitchers:
Holmberg, Rommie Lewis.

Catchers: Gosewisch, Ed Easley, Rossmel Perez, Mark Reed.

Infielders: Davidson, Owings, Ka'aihue, Teahen, Jon Griffin, Josh Wilson.

Outfielders: Jeremy Reed, Brad Snyder.

The D-backs will open the Cactus League exhibition season on Feb. 23 versus the Colorado Rockies at Salt River Fields.
