There is one less candidate for the Browns head coaching search as former Chargers offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt has agreed to be the Tennessee Titans head coach according to ESPN's Adam Schefter and Chris Mortenson.

It was reported that Whisenhunt interviewed with the Browns front office on Saturday prior to the AFC Divisional playoff with the Broncos. It was reported that the Lions were the leader for the former Cardinals head coach.

With Whisenhunt joining the Titans, there are just three head coaching openings left, including the Browns, Vikings and the Lions.

The candidates the Browns have interviewed already are Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn and Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles. Packers' quarterback coach Ben McAdoo interviewed last week with the Browns. Patriots' offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels withdrew from being considered for the position last week.

Former Titans head coach Mike Munchak was interviewed on Monday by the Browns according to Fox Sports. It is believed the Browns are still hoping to interview Broncos' offensive coordinator Adam Gase when the Broncos are out of the playoffs. According to Fox Sports' Jay Glazer, Gase is the first choice for the Browns.
