Coyotes recall Boedker from San Antonio

The Phoenix Coyotes recalled forward Mikkel Boedker on Thursday from the San Antonio Rampage, the team's American Hockey League affiliate.

In 35 games with the Rampage this season, the 5-foot-11, 202-pound Boedker has 10 goals and 21 assists. Boedker is tied for the team lead in assists and ranks second on the team in points.

Boedker has played in four games with the Coyotes this season and has recorded one assist. Last season, the 21-year-old native of Brondby, Denmark, played in 14 games with the Coyotes, collecting a goal and two assists.

Boedker was drafted by the Coyotes with the eighth overall pick in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
