Coyotes' Ekman-Larsson, Hanzal picked for World Cup

Arizona Coyotes defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson and center Martin Hanzal have been selected by their home countries to participate in the 2016 World Cup in Toronto.
Ekman-Larsson, 24, will be on Sweden's roster, while Hanzal, 29, will represent the Czech Republic.
Ekman-Larsson, who leads the Coyotes in points (48), assists (29) and power-play goals (12), was part of Sweden's 2014 Olympic team, recording three assists and a plus-four rating in six games for the silver-medal winners. He also played for Sweden in the IIHF World Championship in 2010 and 2011.

Hanzal represented the Czech Republic in the IIHF World Championship in 2008 and 2013. He has 10 goals and 22 assists for the Coyotes this season.
