Cowboys' receiver Austin returns to practice
IRVING, Texas – Cowboys receiver Miles Austin was a full participant in practice Wednesday for the first time since hurting one of his chronically fragile hamstrings against the Rams.
Austin missed the last two games, which has allowed rookie Terrance Williams to flourish in his absence. In those two games without Austin, Williams has caught 11 passes for 222 yards and a touchdown.
Cole Beasley has also seen more action in Austin's absence with seven catches for 63 yards and a touchdown the last two weeks.
However, Austin's return to practice is a good indication he will be able to play Sunday night against Washington.
Running back Lance Dunbar (hamstring), linebacker Justin Durant (groin) and defensive end Edgar Jones (groin) did not participate in practice.
Defensive end Jason Hatcher (neck) and receiver Dwayne Harris (hip) were limited but did practice.
