IRVING, Texas -- Rolando McClain did his best to avoid giving away any information about the status of his injured groin following Friday's practice.
The standout Dallas Cowboys middle linebacker is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against New Orleans after he was a limited during Friday's practice. McClain strained his groin in the Week 2 win over Tennessee, which caused him to miss last Sunday's win in St. Louis.
Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said Friday morning on 105.3 The Fan [KRLD-FM] that he didn't want to rule out McClain, but it was "looking doubtful."
What was McClain able to do Friday?
"I was able to do what they asked me to do," McClain said. "[My groin] feels better than yesterday. We'll have to take it day by day."
Is there a chance he could feel good enough to play Sunday?
"There's a chance that it may feel better tomorrow, so we'll see how it feels tomorrow," McClain said. "Just keep your head high. That's all I can do, be positive about it. When it's time, it's time."
Defensive linemen Henry Melton (hamstring), Anthony Spencer (knee), Terrell McClain (concussion) and Davon Coleman (knee) were also listed as questionable for Sunday's game on the team's official injury report.
Melton, McClain and Coleman were all limited Friday. Spencer, who had been limited on Wednesday and Thursday, did not practice Friday.
Dez Bryant (shoulder), Tony Romo (back), Justin Durant (groin) and Gavin Escobar (knee) were all listed as probable. Bryant was limited Friday. Romo, Durant and Escobar were full participants.
