For those listening to Mike Krzyzewski since he led Team USA basketball
to yet another gold medal this past summer, Tuesday's news came as
little surprise: Duke's head coach confirmed to media members he will no
longer coach the national team.

"I've loved, loved, loved, and it's been an honor being with the USA Basketball team," Krzyzewski said
in an ESPN Radio interview. "And to coach the team and work with (Team
USA president) Jerry (Colangelo) for seven years has been marvelous."

With
four national championships and two gold medals to his name, Coach K is
the winningest coach in men's college basketball. He was named the
national team's head coach in 2006.

Colangelo and his staff are
expected to name Krzyzewski's successor in the coming months in
preparation for the 2014 FIBA Championships and the 2016 Olympics in
Rio.
