Clippers pay homage to retiring Spurs legend Tim Duncan
Tim Duncan, you will be missed.
After 19 fantastic seasons with the San Antonio Spurs, which included five championships and two MVP trophies, the future NBA Hall of Famer announced his retirement on Monday.
There are few who would argue that Duncan is the greatest power forward of all time.
Congrats to the best power forward to ever play the game. It was truly an honor. Winner above all else. #thankyouTD pic.twitter.com/cXAxvKk8z4

The Clippers and Spurs had their fair share of epic battles, especially over the last few postseasons. In 2011-12, Duncan the Co. swept Los Angeles in the Western Conference semifinals.
Three seasons later, in 2014-15, the Clippers edged the Spurs, 4-3, thanks to a brilliant game-winning shot by Chris Paul over Duncan in Game 7 (see the Vine above).
On Monday, tributes from NBA stars of past and present poured in for Duncan ... and the Clippers took part as well.
I want to congratulate Timmy D on an amazing & historic @NBA career. I wish you nothing but success in life after basketball. #ThankYouTD
