Clippers officially sign Glen Davis
The Clippers made official what had been rumored for several days, signing free agent forward Glen Davis on Monday to add depth to their front court.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Davis, 28, joined the Clippers in New Orleans, although he will not play against the Pelicans tonight. Davis will take a required physical on Tuesday and should play Wednesday when the Clippers return back home against the Rockets.
Davis, who will wear uniform No. 12, was bought out of his contract by the Orlando Magic on Friday. He reportedly was on the radar of the Spurs, Heat, Warriors, Bulls and Nets but opted to be reunited with Clippers coach Doc Rivers.

Rivers coached Davis for four seasons with the Boston Celtics, including their NBA championship team in 2008, Davis' rookie season.
The 6-foot-9, 289-pound Davis averaged 12.1 points and 6.3 rebounds in 45 games with the Magic this season. He'll give the Clippers some bulk up front as a backup at center and power forward.
The addition of Davis brings the Clippers' roster to 13 players. The team traded Antawn Jamison and Byron Mullens last week just before the trade deadline.
