Clippers' Davis fined $5,000 for flopping in Game 3
Glen "Big Baby" Davis was fined $5,000 by the NBA on Saturday for violating the league's anti-flopping rules.
The flopping incident on Davis, in which he fell to the court to draw a foul against Dwight Howard, happened in the first quarter of the Clippers' 124-99 Game 3 Western Conference semifinals victory over the Rockets.
The Clippers lead the series 2-1, and the teams are tied with one flopping fine each as Corey Brewer was fined for violating the anti-flopping rule in Game 2.
"I don't care. As long as we get away with it I'm fine," Doc Rivers joked. "I want them to catch Corey every time he does it. There's been some, there's no doubt."
Saturday was the second day in a row that a Clippers player was fined by the NBA. Matt Barnes was fined $50,000 on Friday for directing inappropriate language toward James Harden's mother during Game 2 in Houston.
