The Diamondbacks last season made waves with the D-Bat dog and this year they're at it again.
The team on Wednesday announced Chase Field concessions this season will offer the Churro Dog, a warm cinnamon churro sitting inside a Long John chocolate-glazed donut, which is then topped with frozen yogurt and caramel and chocolate sauces.
The Churro Dog has an estimated calorie count of 1,117 and will cost $8.50.
The announcement caught the attention of social media and at one point Wednesday the Churro Dog was trending nationally on Twitter.

The next logical question, of course, is who will attempt to consume the D-Bat dog -- a $25, 18-inch corn dog stuffed with cheddar cheese, jalapenos and bacon, served with a side of fries -- and the Churro Dog during a single game?
Bring back the doubleheader.
