ATLANTA — This is the Julio Teheran everyone has been waiting for.
Though his nine spring innings are but a small sample size, Teheran, the 22-year-old Colombian product and top Braves prospect, looks to have his confidence back. He's one of seven Braves pitchers below a 3.00 ERA this spring (2.00) and his 12 strikeouts are tied for second among all Grapefruit League participants, behind only Washington's Stephen Strasburg. Opponents are batting just .133 off of him.
This all comes in stark contrast to Teheran's previous spring, one in which he was roughed up from the very beginning en route to posting a disappointing 2012 season in the minors.
