Chopcast: Early spring training impressions

ATLANTA — It's tough to form any definitive opinions from the first week of spring training, but it's tough to leave Lake Buena Vista, Fla., without early impressions of the Atlanta Braves.

With a large portion of the Chopcast team—Jay Clemons and Cory McCartney—returning to the Atlanta studios to talk the Atlanta outfield, prospect Evan Gattis, second baseman Dan Uggla, utility man Tyler Pastornicky and (once again) the great unknown that is the Braves' third base position.

Here are a few highlights:

-- Can Evan Gattis' bat project at the major league level and would the Braves be smart in giving him a shot at third base?

-- What's the deal with Dan Uggla's new diet? Could it affect his performance in any way?

-- Baseball Prospectus projects the Braves at 82 wins this season. Is that too high or too low?

-- Final question: Coming out of spring training and after seeing the new-look Braves up close and personal, is our team higher or lower on Atlanta's 2013 potential?
