Chip Kelly sick of QB questions, tabs Nick Foles as starter

By Ross Jones, FOXSports.com Nick Foles will be taking snaps under center Sunday when the Eagles play in Oakland, according to head coach Chip Kelly. As for the long-term quarterback in Philly, Kelly felt compelled to address the larger issue of why reporters constantly pepper him with such questions. "Let me ask you a serious question," Kelly said according to NFL.com. "How many times are you going to ask me that same question? And in how many ways are you going to go about it. ... The ideal world, Mike's the healthiest in the world, Nick's the healthiest in the world, Matt's the healthiest in the world. At that point in time, we'll have that conversation." Foles, who missed last week because of a groin injury and concussion, was replaced by rookie Matt Barkley in the third quarter of Week 7’s game against the Giants. While Barkley showed some flashes to move the chains, he struggled with a few of his deep throws. The Eagles haven’t scored an offensive touchdown in two weeks and are searching for answers, not excuses. "If we start thinking long term, I won't be here long term," Kelly said. Fortunately for the Eagles, they play in the NFC East. So, while they own a 3-5 record, they’re only just a game out of first place. Questions? Comments?
