Check out these license plates banned in Ohio

In case you are considering a new vanity license plate for your vehicle, you should probably know the Ohio BMV has some strict rules for regulating the practice. 

First of all, all personalized plates must contain no less four letters and no more than seven letters or a combination of letters and numbers. That means "OSU", "CBJ", and "CAV" are out in case you were hoping for something super simple. "Buckeyes" is out, too, and so are "CincyReds", "HitKing14" and "CleveFan".

And don't even think about something profane or dirty because the folks at the BMV are way ahead of you. The list of banned plates is long, and the Dayton Daily News has provided it for all to see.
