Chargers agree to 4-year deal with WR Travis Benjamin
On Wednesday, the San Diego Chargers announced they have reached an agreement with wide receiver Travis Benjamin on a four-year deal.
Benjamin had the best season of his four-year career last year, with 1,302 all-purpose yards and five touchdown catches for the Cleveland Browns.
"Travis is explosive," said Chargers Head Coach Mike McCoy in a release from the team. "He's a playmaker that brings a different dynamic to our team. He was highly productive last season and his speed will be an asset to our offense. We're also excited for what he can do as a returner. His speed and overall athleticism will help us in both phases."
The Chargers also announced on Wednesday that they placed a second-round tender on strong safety Jahleel Addae, while also tendering offers to exclusive free agents wide receiver Dontrelle Inman and guard Kenny Wiggins.
