JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Cecil Shorts III has returned to practice after missing more than a week with a nagging hamstring injury.

Running back Toby Gerhart (foot) did not practice Thursday after working in full the previous day.

Shorts fully participated Thursday, working in individual and team drills for the first time since he reinjured his left hamstring Sept. 28 at San Diego. Shorts also sat out the first two games of the season with the same injury. He has seven receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown in two games.

Coach Gus Bradley says the next step for Shorts is "we just need to see him stack it up now."

Bradley says Shorts needs to get through Friday's practice without any setbacks to play Sunday at Tennessee.
