Cavs' Varejao: We're still learning, but effort is there

nderson Varejao knows Mike Brown well. The Cavaliers’ center/forward played under Brown during Brown’s first stint in Cleveland (2005-10), and the two are back together again.
So Varejao understands what Brown expects, how Brown demands not just putting forth effort on defense, but actual results that translate to wins. And Brown was indeed happy (or at least, happier) with the what took place in Thursday’s 96-84 preseason win over the visiting Pistons.
