Cavs promote Redden to assistant GM

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio – Former director of college player personnel Trent Redden has been promoted to assistant general manager of the Cavaliers, team officials announced Friday.
Redden, who joins David Griffin as co-assistant GM, has been with the organization since 2006.
