CLEVELAND -- One week after leading Ohio State to the national championship, Urban Meyer took in Monday's Cavaliers game against the Chicago Bulls at Quicken Loans Arena.
Before the game, the head coach of the Buckeyes reportedly addressed the Cavaliers in the locker room and talked with general manager David Griffin. Meyer also mingled with Cavaliers legend and Fox Sports Ohio color commentator Austin Carr.

Meyer, along with a group of players and coaches from Cleveland, watched the game near the Cavs' bench. The five coaches and players with area ties included running backs coach Stan Drayton (John Marshall High), cornerback Marshon Lattimore and quarterback Cardale Jones (Glenville), defensive lineman Donovan Munger (Shaker Heights) and safety Tyvis Powell (Bedford).
Meyer and the Buckeyes were honored by the Cavs at the end of the first quarter. Carr presented Meyer and the players with a No. 1 "Buckeyes" Cavaliers jersey.
Meyer addressed the crowd: "It's an honor as a lifelong Cavaliers fan from Northeast Ohio to bring back the Big Ten Championship trophy, the Sugar Bowl trophy and the National Championship trophy to Northeast Ohio."
Meyer then introduced Cleveland's own Cardale Jones.
"When I go out there and play and strap my helmet on, I play for a couple of things," Jones said. "I play for my family, The Ohio State University and most importantly, Cleveland, Ohio. O-H!"

It has been a whirlwind week for Meyer since winning his third title as a head coach. Besides recruiting, he appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman on Friday (the taping took place on Thursday).
