Carlos Gomez robs Joey Votto, again
Cincinnati first baseman Joey Votto must really be getting tired of playing the Milwaukee Brewers, or at least Carlos Gomez.
Every time Votto hits a ball headed for the seats in center field, Gomez is always there to rob it.
Last year on the July, 8, in Milwaukee, Gomez took away a go-ahead homer from Votto in the top of the ninth.
On Thursday, in his first at bat, Votto launched a ball to center field, only to be robbed by Gomez once again.
Votto's frustration showed through as he called out to Gomez holding up two fingers, indicating this is the second time the Gold Glover took a homer away from the Cincinnati star.
However, Votto isn't the only Reds slugger to be plagued by the center-field ability of Mr. Gomez. Jay Bruce suffered a similar fate on Sept. 15 of last year.
Here's a tip for the Reds, either don't hit it to center field, or hit it far enough where Gomez can't go and get it.
