Carl Nicks among inactive players for Buccaneers
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- Atlanta tight end Tony Gonzalez is active for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay after being limited in practice because of a left toe injury.
Gonzalez has only missed two games during a 17-year NFL career. He had been listed as questionable after being held out of practice Wednesday and Thursday, then participating in Friday's workout.
Running back Jason Snelling is inactive after being arrested on misdemeanor charges of marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on Friday. Atlanta's other inactives are safety Kemal Ishmael, linebacker Omar Gaither, guard Harland Gunn, tackle Sean Locklear, receiver Brian Robiskie and defensive tackle Malliciah Goodman.
Cornerbacks Deveron Carr and Danny Gorrer, safety Bradley MacDougald, guards Carl Nicks and Patrick Omameh and defensive linemen Derek Landri and Da'Quan Bowers are inactive for Tampa Bay.
