ST. LOUIS -- With the reassignment Thursday of four non-roster players to minor league camp, the St. Louis Cardinals trimmed their big-league roster to 30.
The players sent to minor league camp were pitcher Juan Gonzalez, catcher Eric Fryer, infielder Jacob Wilson and outfielder Carlos Peguero.
The spring roster has 15 pitchers, two catchers, eight infielders and five outfielders (one non-roster -- Jeremy Hazelbaker).
