After St. Louis Cardinals second baseman Kolten Wong crossed home plate following his walk-off solo home run that lifted the team to a 5-4 win and tied the National League Championshp Series at 1 game apiece, Wong's teammates shredded the jersey from his body.

The jersey sacrifice wasn't ceremonious or anything -- it just sort of happened during the group hopping and screaming session. Fittingly, it looks like closer Trevor Rosenthal sealed the jersey's fate.
The NLCS will resume in San Francisco on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1.
