Cancer awareness advocate Pollex meets with members of Congress
On behalf of the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance, Sherry Pollex - Martin Truex Jr.'s longtime girlfriend - spent Wednesday in Washington D.C. meeting with members of Congress.
Pollex - who herself has battled ovarian cancer - is advocating for full federal funding of ovarian cancer research and for women to have access to affordable oral chemotherapy treatments.
