Burke's NBA decision coming soon

The first shoe is about to drop for the Michigan basketball team.

While appearing in Los Angeles to accept the John Wooden national player of the year award, Trey Burke said that he is within a couple days of making a decision about entering the NBA draft.

I will definitely be announcing in the next couple of days," Burke said on ESPN. "The good thing is Coach (John) Beilein is out here in L.A. with me and we have an opportunity to sit down and discuss things, not only with him but with my family."

Burke has consistently been listed as a lottery pick in mock drafts, and his biggest weakness — his height — isn't something that another year of college will help. Burke, along with Tim Hardaway Jr., Glenn Robinson III and Mitch McGary, will hear from the NBA's draft advisory board on Monday.

That will give the quartet a better-informed idea of where they would likely be picked if they left Michigan. Burke is considered a near-lock to enter the draft, but Hardaway, Robinson and McGary will be facing a tougher decision.
