Bucs add linebacker Larry Dean, center Ben Gottschalk to roster

TAMPA, Fla. -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers added linebacker Larry Dean and center Ben Gottschalk to their roster Thursday.

Dean, who has four previous seasons in the NFL, arrives to Tampa Bay after stints with the Minnesota Vikings (2011 to 2013) and Buffalo Bills (2014). The Valdosta State product has appeared in 61 career games, with 36 special teams tackles, one tackle on defense, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

Gottschalk, meanwhile, spent the offseason and preseason last year with the Kansas City Chiefs. The SMU product was part of Kansas City's practice squad during Week 1.
