Bucks sign guard Jennings to multiyear deal
After signing a pair of 10-day contracts with Milwaukee in March, guard Brandon Jennings is here to stay.
The Bucks inked Jennings to a multiyear deal on Sunday, assuring the 28-year-old he'll be with the team for the remainder of the 2017-18 season.
Jennings played overseas in China this year before signing with Milwaukee's G League affiliate Wisconsin Herd in February. He worked his way back into the NBA in a matter of weeks and is averaging 5.5 points, 3.3 assists and 15.3 minutes per contest in 10 games with the Bucks.
Jennings will continue to add much-needed depth in the Bucks' backcourt, although Malcolm Brogdon and Matthew Dellavedova are expected to be back in the rotation in early April.
Milwaukee travels to Denver to take on the Nuggets on Sunday evening.
