Browns to make TV debut in reality series
CLEVELAND (AP) -- The Browns are coming to reality TV.
A new series, "NFL Road Tested: The Cleveland Browns," will premier Tuesday night on the Travel Channel, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the NFL team. The five-part series will include features on players and show the inner workings of the team during the regular season. A film crew went to kicker Phil Dawson's home in Austin, Texas when the Browns recently visited the Dallas Cowboys.
Camera crews have been filming at the Browns' facility for weeks. Coach Pat Shurmur said he was initially worried about the series being a distraction, but is "sure it will be very professional and very interesting for the people that watch it."
New Browns owner Jimmy Haslam has called the show a "softer version" of HBO's "Hard Knocks."
