BEREA, Ohio -- The Browns announced that starting defensive end Phil Taylor had surgery and will be "re-evaluated in a few weeks."
Taylor injured his knee in the first half of the Browns win over the Titans last Sunday. The Browns announced that team physician James Voos performed the surgery at University Hospital on Wednesday morning.
Taylor has seven tackles on the season. He was the Browns first-round pick in 2011.
