Browns swap fullbacks
BEREA, Ohio -- Fullback Kiero Small's position as starting fullback was short-lived as the Browns have re-signed fullback Ray Agnew.
To make room on the roster, the team waived fullback Kiero Small.
Agnew, who originally signed with the Browns as an undrafted free agent this year, started the first six games this season and recorded two carries for two yards and two receptions for 15 yards. He was waived on Oct. 20.
Small was signed to the active roster on Oct. 20 after Agnew had been released the same day. Small was first signed to the Browns practice squad on Sept. 2 after being waived by the Seahawks on Aug. 30. He was originally drafted in the seventh round by the Seahawks from Arkansas.
Small had started the past three games at fullback, but did not carry the ball or catch a pass. The Browns rushed for 170 yards last Thursday against the Bengals.
In addition, the Browns announced they released defensive lineman Jacobbi McDaniel from the practice squad.
