Manny Pina and Kyle Wren both hit three-run homers and the Milwaukee Brewers held off the Chicago Cubs in a 13-7 win in Cactus League play Saturday.
Dustin Houle also homered for the Brewers.
Milwaukee's Kirk Nieuwenhuis hit an RBI single, scoring on Pina's homer and again on Wren's homer. Isan Diaz hit a booming double that bounced off the wall and drove in Trent Clark. Scooter Gennett hit an RBI double and scored on Ivan De Jesus Jr.'s sacrifice fly. Mauricio Dubon drove in Diaz witha sharp ground ball single.
Anthony Rizzo homered for Chicago on the only hit of Brent Suter's single-inning start.
The Cubs' Jacob Hannemann hit a two-run homer, John Andreoli and Addison Russell added solo homers, Chesny Young hit an RBI single and Willson Contreras scored on a ground-out by Albert Almora Jr.
