Brewers call up RHP Cravy, Peralta added to paternity list

May 5, 2016

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Wily Peralta has been added to the paternity list and will miss his start on Friday following the birth of his daughter on Thursday.

Reliever Tyler Cravy has been called up, and will start in his place.

Peralta is 2-3 through six starts for the Brewers this season with a 7.50 ERA, and has yet to make it past the sixth inning.

A second-year right-hander, Cravy was a 17th-round draft pick back in 2009, and started seven games for the Brewers last season with a 5.70 ERA through 42 2/3 innings.

Cravy has a 3.18 ERA in two appearances for the Triple-A Colorado Springs Sky Sox this season.
