The
Braves had their chances Tuesday night against Roy Halladay, the ace of
the Philadelphia Phillies. But for the second night in a row they did
not take advantage of those opportunities and it cost them dearly.
In
the third inning, Rick Ankiel led off with a walk. But starting pitcher
Mike Minor missed a bunt sign and instead grounded into a double play.
The next batter, Omar Infante, singled to right field on a ball that
would have scored Ankiel and given Atlanta an early lead.
