Brantley All-Star voting update

With a couple days left to go in fan balloting for the All-Star Game, Michael Brantley remains sixth among American League outfielders.
Brantley has 1,630,452 votes and trails Oakland's Yoenis Cespedes by 311,101 for the final starting spot. Toronto's Jose Batista (4,460,245) and Los Angeles' Mike Trout (4,085,647) look to have the top two spots. Toronto's Melky Cabrera is in fourth (1,929,506) and Baltimore's Adam Jones (1,853,268) is fifth.
Going into Monday's game against the Dodgers, Brantley has hit safely in 13 of his last 16 games and is second among American League outfielders in batting average (.316) and RBI (53). He is tied for third in extra-base hits (32) and tied for second in outfield assists with nine.
