Bow Bells, Indian Spell win at Monmouth

Michel Tabor's Bow Bells raced to a five-length victory Saturday in the $60,000 Twin Lights Stakes at Monmouth Park.
Trained by Todd Pletcher, Bow Bells ran 1 1/8 miles on the turf in 1:47 3-5. The Chris DeCarlo-ridden filly returned $5.80, $3 and $2.60 as the second choice in the field of six.
Favored Sense to Compete returned $3 and $2.10, and Parting Kiss paid $3.20 to show.
In the co-featured $60,000 Miss Woodford Stakes, long-shot Indian Spell held off Fully Living by a head.

Ridden by Gabriel Saez and trained by Eddie Plesa Jr., Indian Spell ran six furlongs in 1:12. The 3-year-old paid $35.80 and $8 as the longest shot in the four-horse field.
Fully Living returned $3.80. Ju Ju Eyeballs was third.
