Bourn to DL among Indians roster moves
GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- With Michael Bourn still working his way back from a hamstring injury, the Indians will place the center fielder on the disabled list. That move helped bring some clarity to some other roster questions.
Nyjer Morgan will be on the Opening Day roster next Monday at Oakland after impressing the organization with the way he went about things during spring training. Morgan was a non-roster invitee, meaning he will be signed to the Major League roster.
Lonnie Chisenhall was also informed that he has made it as well but no decision has been made on who will be the Opening Day third baseman. Over the weekend, Carlos Santana saw time at third, designated hitter and catcher. When Santana played third in last Friday's game against the Rockies, Chisenhall was the designated hitter.
