Bolts players, staff take part in 'Cut for a Cure Charity Challenge'
The Tampa Bay Lightning became the latest area team to shed hair for a good cause.
On Thursday, players and staff took part in the Pediatric Cancer Foundation's "Cut for a Cure Charity Challenge" at Amalie Arena. The Tampa Bay Rays and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have taken part in the fundraising venture in the past. The challenge raises funds and awareness for select nonprofit organizations to fight pediatric cancer.
Donations can be made at www.pcfcutforacure.org or by calling 813-269-0955.
