Bobcats Game Day: Hot Celtics
Bobcats head to Boston to end this truncated, laundry challenging 4-game in 8 day tour. Te Bobcats have lost 11 straight games, the second longest losing streak in team history. 13 is the mark they are hoping to avoid, but finding a win at the TD Garden in Boston will be a challenge. The Bobcats three leading scorers are still not available and the Celtics are playing like they've finished the shakedown crisis and are preparing to tear their way up the Eastern Conference standings. They've won four straight and have the Lakers and two games with the Bulls staring them down over the next 5 games.
Coach Paul Silas will use the same lineup that played very well in Phoenix, with rookies Kemba Walker, Bismack Biyombo, plus Reggie Williams, Tyrus Thomas and Boris Diaw. Walker and Williams combined for 10 assists and only committed 1 turnover between them.
Boston is next to last in average rebounds per game at just over 38. But that's as much a product of their 46% field goal shooting as their inability to gather what misses there are. They haven't let a single opponent score over 100 points in the last 21 games.
Bobcats-Celtics, first of four games between the two, starts tonight with Bobcats Live at 7:00 on Sportsouth.
