Blue Jackets trade right wing to Blues

BY Connor Kiesel • February 26, 2015

The Columbus Blue Jackets have made a move ahead of next Thursday's NHL trade deadline, sending right wing Adam Cracknell to the St. Louis Blues in exchange for future considerations.

Cracknell, claimed by the Jackets off waivers in October, notched an assist and two penalty minutes in 17 games with the team this season. He also played in 18 AHL games with the Springfield Falcons.

The 29-year-old had previously spent four seasons in the Blues organization.

A ninth-round pick of the Calgary Flames in the 2004 NHL draft, Cracknell has played a total of 82 NHL games between the Blue Jackets and Blues.
